Featured Series: Special Thoughts for the Heart #1
“The Potter’s Hands”
He turns the clay upon the wheel,
With patient care, His touch is real.
The cracks that form, He does not hide,
For beauty lives where pain resides.
He molds with mercy, shapes with grace,
Each flaw becomes a sacred place.
The pressure’s heavy, yet divine,
For through the crush, new hearts will shine.
We pray for speed, He gives us stay,
To teach our hearts the holy way.
For in His hand, though torn we stand,
We’re healed and held by love’s command.
Reflection: Healing During the Process
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
Healing is rarely immediate; it is a process shaped by the gentle, sovereign hands of God. We often pray for deliverance and expect an instant change, but the Lord sometimes allows time to do His perfect work. Like clay on the potter’s wheel, we are turned, pressed, and reshaped — not to break us, but to prepare us for greater purpose.
Healing happens in hidden moments — in prayer, in tears, in surrender. Every scar carries a story of grace; every wound becomes a well where God’s love flows. The process is not punishment — it’s preparation. The Potter knows when to apply pressure and when to let you rest.
If you’re in a season of mending, remember: God never abandons His work. What feels like breaking is often building. Stay in His hands; He’s not finished with you yet.
