Pastor Anthony Finley
Rev. Finley was born on September 25, 1962 in Meridian, Ms. and raised by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Jackson, there he attended the Meridian public school system until 1979, thereafter he relocated to Southern California. There he attended Pasadena High School and graduated in 1980. After graduating, he attended Citrus College in Glendora, Ca. where he studied Psychology.
Rev. Anthony D. Finley is a God-fearing man and a firm believer that all things are possible with God. He confessed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior at an early age. His favorite scripture is taken from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.”
In 2004, he moved to Atlanta, Ga. where he received his calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and was ordained, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Harris T. Travis of Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga. where he served as an Associate Minister and was active in the Sunday School Department, New Members Ministry, and served on the Board of Christian Education.
In 2010 Rev. Finley transitioned to The House of Hope Atlanta under the Pastoral leadership of Dr. E. Dewey Smith Jr., where Rev. Finley served as an Associate Minister, and was a facilitator in the Sunday School Department Married Couples Ministry, Pastoral Care Ministry, and served as a Minster Team Coordinator.
In 2018 Rev. Finley transitioned to The Wholistic Life Church in Kennesaw, Ga. under the Pastoral leadership of Pastor John “Jay” Jones , and is currently serving as an Associate Minister.
Recognizing the value of education, Rev. Finley attended Beulah Heights University in pursuit of a degree in Biblical Studies. His future plans are to continue his education by ultimately pursuing a Doctorate degree while keeping his eyes on God and being led by the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and teach.
Rev. Finley resides in Kennesaw, Ga. with his wife Monica and they share four children; Dallin, Summer, Porsha and Katonyia, three granddaughters Tariyah, Taryn and Cataleya and two grandsons, Adam Jr. and Teron and sons-in-law , Todd and Adam.
